Description

(M410) Very Scarce British .455 Prideaux Quick Loader. Developed in the late 19th century by William de Courcy Prideaux and improved in his Patent of 1914; used for speed loading the Military Webley .455 revolvers. Constructed from spring steel forming a plate with six fingers to grip the cartridges, when downward pressure is exerted, the plate is forced back into the body of the loader thus releasing the cartridges into the chambers. The handle Ordnance marked P-L2, Crown 55B, dated 1919 with broad Arrow. Fine Condition (cartridges not included)
