This is a near mint condition Browning Hi Power Semi Automatic pistol. In 1973 Belgium's 'Fabrique Nationale D'Armes De Guerre' ( National Manufactory Of Weapons Of War) legend changed to Fabrique Nationale Herstal ( Herstal is the City in Belgium where the Arms Factory is based). The fixed and adjustable sight versions of the 9mm Hi Power Pistol were renamed the ' Vigilante' and 'Capitan' both with or without lanyard ring. This 'Vigilante' model with fixed sight is in great condition. It is nicely stamped with the ' Fabrique Nationale Herstal' legend on the left side of the slide. The right side 'Browning S. A. Made In Belgium'. It has matching serial numbers stamped on the frame & Slide. It's finely chequered black plastic grips are undamaged. The pistol strips, cocks and dry fires perfectly.
