Mint, WW1, 1918, German Officer`s, Dreyse, .32 Auto/ 7.65mm Semi Automatic Pistol. D 1086..This is a near mint condition original WW1, German Army Officer`s, Dreyse, .32 auto/7.65 mm semi automatic pistol. The pistol retains 99% of it`s original blueing and all of it`s original `mercuric` blueing on the receiver spring. It`s bakelite chequered grips with bold manufacturers initials logo are in fine undamaged condition. The left side of the pistol`s frame is crisply stamped with manufacturer`s details `Dreyse`, `Rheinische Metalwearen-& Maschinenfabrik` together with `Art Sommerda` which is a German town near Erfurt in Thuringa. The left side of the slide is stamped with the serial number 2015-18 which dates it to 1918, together with numerous proof/ inspection marks. The right side of the frame and slide are also stamped with inspection/ proof marks.
