Sn 6173..This interesting piece is a Spanish made Astra 300, 9mm semi-automatic pistol supplied to the German Army on 9.4.1943 in a contract of 4,000. It has matching serial numbers stamped clearly on the frame and breech housing. The serial number 572180 dates it exactly to that batch. It is clearly Waffenampted on the rear body, has original excellent wooden chequered grips and nice original blueing. The pistol has grip safety and original magazine. The top of the barrel is clearly stamped with the circular `ASTRA` legend as is the base of the magazine. The pistol cocks and dry fires perfectly.
