Description

This is an excellent example of a restored Martini Henry MK1, converted to MK II, 1881 dated .577x .450, Enfield made , Martini Henry, Service Rifle. It has all original woodwork. The steel barrel is clean, the rifling sharp and well defined. All wood furniture and metal is undamaged except one small piece on the top that would be easy to restore (See Picture). The action works correctly and is fully functional. I am not an expert and was left this item from my grandfather when he died. I am told it has the correct MK I to MK II designation stamps and would fire although I have never fired it myself. I have more pictures on request and am happy to arrange viewing at weekends. It has been converted to .303 so this is a Section 1 firearm.
