Description

A c1630/40 matchlock musket. All parts are original and the lock mechanism works smoothly.

This is a German manufactured piece using an English barrel.

The lock has a makers mark of IS in a heart.

The barrel has a makers mark of H.

There is a shield carved into the stock above the trigger.

Approximately 118cm/46 inch barrel length plus a 40cm/16 inch stock.

It has a 20mm (8/10ths of a inch) bore. (trade)
