~ Colonial India pattern Brown Bess musket c1830 ~

There are proofmarks to the barrel (crown over GR, Crown over crossed swords) but no marks to the lockplate.

~ Dimensions ~

The overall length is 55.25 inches (141cm) with a 39 inches (99cm) barrel.

~ Conditon ~

The gun cocks fine but the trigger does not engage.

The woodwork is stripped and the gun is slighlty rusty, also the barrel retaining screw is missing as is the rear sling. The ramrod is present.
