Description

Balkan 15-Bore Miquelet-Lock Musket, 19th Century (Probably Albanian). With tapering octagonal to round barrel with slightly bulbous muzzle, retained by five engraved brass barrel bands, plain tang of characteristic form entirely covered in iron panels loosely engraved with foliate designs, slender curved 'fish-tail' butt, iron trigger-guard and suspension ring and iron ramrod.
