~ A c1830 Continental Percussion Cap Musketoon ~

The firearm has a swamped brass three stage barrel which is octagonal at the breech, with two London stamped proof marks.

It has a plain steel lock plate, walnut full stock with steel furniture and its ramrod.

~ Dimensions ~

The musketoon is 30 inches (76cm) long with the barrel measuring 14.5 inches (37cm).

The interior bore at the muzzle is 1.25 inches (3.2cm).

The total weight is 2.25 kg.

~ Condition ~

The condition of the piece is very decent with minor wear to the wood and some very minor surface corrosion to the steel parts. There is a 2cm crack on the steel butt plate. It half cocks, cocks and releases without issue. The nipple is decent.
