Belgian 7.65mm Browning Model 1900 semi-automatic Pistol. This is called the Browning No1 pistol and was the first of a long line of successful handguns. Designed in 1896 by the American John Browning and produced in Belgium by FN Herstal. A 7-shot pistol of very distinctive design as the ejector port is machined in the frame instead of in the slide. The rearsight incorporates a loaded indicator. Produced for only 11 years; this is a Collector’s Items in Excellent Condition. This beautiful pistol has some very interesting history. Complete with a private purchase Army & Navy CSL London marked holster with the name of H.G.Collet who was in the 1st Welsh Regiment. This would certainly have been carried during the First World War. Few were produced, Few were privately purchased by officers and even fewer were carried during the Great War. A real collectors piece. Complete with deactivation certificate. (trade)
