1973 Browning Hi-Power 9mm ` SPORT` model with Pachmayr Signature Grips. ( Sn 7755 ).The `SPORT` model H.P. was introduced by FN, Browning, in 1971. Prior to this Browning`s prime concern was military pistols. Recognising the need to cater for sports shooters this model was introduced. Albeit from the same production line it was fitted with a high square front sight and a new square notch rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation. This pistol has also been fitted with Pachmayr Signature grips and it retains 98% of its original high gloss factory blue finish. The serial number is 73C72832 . These pistols only remained in production until 1977 when the Competition Model was introduced. This is a scarce model of Browning in excellent condition. It cocks, strips and dry fires as normal.
