Description

A 3rd Reich P38 CYQ coded (Spreewerk) P38 pistol.

The deactivation certification is dated 16/01/2012.

One side of the slide is stamped 'P38 CYQ 9146' whilst the other side is stamped with the Nazi eagle stamp with the number '66' underneath.

The barrel has a length of 5 inches (12.75cm), with the pistol having a total length of 8.5 inches (21.5cm). It weighs 0.99kg.

UK postage is £12 or it can collected from our shop in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

The Walther P38 is a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol that was developed by Walther as the service pistol of the Wehrmacht at the beginning of World War II. It was intended to replace the costly Luger P08, the production of which was scheduled to end in 1942. Cyq is the maker code assigned to Spreewerke; no year of manufacture was used on these guns.
