French Military MAB Model D 7.65mm Semi Automatic Pistol With 2 Magazines & Holster. Sn 7407..The MAB model D 7.65mm Semi Automatic Pistol was produced by MAB (Manufacture d`Armes de Bayonne) from 1933 to 1963. It was used by the French Military during WW2 and in occupied France by German troops. Following World War II, the MAB D was used by the French military in Indochina. In France, it was used by various French Government Agencies, including the French local police, the Gendarmerie (National Police). This is a good example that cocks and dry fires. It has original blueing that has aged to a bronze blue colour. The left side of the slide has the model D and calibre detail (illustrated) and is stamped `Interarms`. The right side is stamped with serial number `403319` and the breech `MAB Cal 7.65`. The grips are original with fine chequering and embossed `MAB`. Both grips are secure but do have some chipping around the outer edges. It has grip safety and is fitted with military lanyard ring. The pistol is complete with 2 original magazines and brown leather holster. All stitching & leather of the holster is in tact. it has a full flap lid with single retaining strap and the front aspect has a single magazine pouch which is covered by the full flap lid. The rear has 2 belt loops and the inside of the lid is stamped with an ink roundel bearing the partially visible makers name `****OSWALD`. Price includes UK delivery & 1995 deactivation certificate.
