The new Katana System from WE is a proven concept built on a new platform allowing interchangeable cylinders to alter the power of your gun in seconds.
While based on the coloured cylinder design of the high performing Systema PTW, the WE Katana is actually a regular AEG (although lower gearbox features unique anti reverse catch which is disengaged when safety is applied) with a cylinder change system that looks like the PTW.
The WE Katana uses Marui compatible gears and the flash hider can be removed to install a suppressor via 14mm CCW threads, when we fired this gun using the installed red cylinder the average chronograph results were 360fps +/- 5%
The Katana Raptor features a 315mm outer Barrel with 70mm Advanced Armament Corp AAC Flashider, and the Raptor tactical handguard is of the highest quality aluminium with 115mm lower Picatinny rails for larger accessories such as bipods while the 65mm mini side rails can be installed to the user preference.

Changing the power cylinders is easy. Just remove the rear retainer pin with the gun in safe mode (very important - failure to follow these instructions will invalidate your warranty) and tilt the upper receiver forward, pull out the cylinder and replace.
Different coloured cylinders with different power levels are available separately, you can easily check what power level you have installed in your gun by simply looking into the ejection port.
Adjustable hop-up can also be tuned from within the ejection port via a turn-knob and the gun can use either a small Lipo battery or twin leg NiMH that can be stored in the stock.
Please note that this AEG does not include any sights or carry handle as shown in the instruction manual
