Description

A deactivated new spec. 1945 TT-33 Auto Pistol produced by Makarov, with extra magazine and holster.

This TT-33 was a Tokarev design but was produced in Makarov factory because of the war effort.

The differences between the TT-33 Tokarev made and TT-33 Makarov made are not significant.

The Makarov handle is different, made by wood with a simple shape, without the star decoration that can be found on the Tokarev model. The general aspect of the metalwork is more crude but respects the TT-33 specifications.

On the left hand side of the frame is stamped "X6 4666 - maker mark - 1945". A bit higher is another triangular mark with the letters "ARZ" stamped inside.

On the top of the pistol (on the loading mechanism) is stamped again the serial no. "X6 4666 - maker mark - 1945".

On the opposite side just in front of the trigger is stamped, once on the body and once on the loading mechanism "D. A.13".

On the barrel is manually etched serial no. "596".

On the magazine is manually etched serial no. "978".

On the spare magazine is manually etched serial no. "261".

On the holster is stamped serial no. "5-00.000".

Inside the holster are the written initials "M V.".

The holster is a soviet copy of the WWII German Walter PPK holster. Later this model of holster was produced for the East German Army.

The deactivation certificate is dated 21/01/2013.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel length is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) and the overall length of the pistol is 7.6 inches (19.5 cm).

The holster length is 8.2 inches (21 cm) when closed and 14.3 inches (36 cm), when is opened.

~ Condition ~

The pistol is in good condition with wear on the wooden handle. The metalwork is in good order, the blacking is worn. The pistol cocks and dry fires.

The holster is in great order with tight stitching.

Inspection: If you wish to visit the shop to inspect a particular item, please call to confirm that it is available. We frequently have items out at other sites and fairs and do not want you to have a wasted journey.

Payment & Lay Away: Card payments can be taken over the phone. We do not take Paypal. We can do lay away terms by agreement. Generally we ask a 20% deposit and the balance to be paid within 2 months. Part exchange is often a possibility.

Returns: In the rare event that you are not satisfied with the item we always accept returns. A full refund is given less any postage costs.
