Description

This is an excellent original, WW2, U.S Army issue, Colt 1911A1 .45 ACP calibre semi automatic pistol. It has it's correct parkerised finish and it's serial number 1269397 dates it to 1944. This pistol made by Ithaca bears the manufacturer's detail ' Ithaca Gun Co Inc Ithaca N.Y.' on the left side of it's slide and is stamped ' UNITED STATES PROPERTY M1911A1 U.S. ARMY' and Serial number on the right side of it's frame. The pistols finely chequered attractive brown plastic grips are in great undamaged condition. It has grip safety & the weapon can be stripped cocked and dry fired.
