C1970`s, FN (Herstal) Browning Hi Power, `Vigilante`, 9mm,Semi Automatic Pistol. Sn 7221..This is a good Browning Hi Power Semi Automatic pistol. In 1973 Belgium`s `Fabrique Nationale D`Armes De Guerre` ( National Manufactory Of Weapons Of War) legend changed to Fabrique Nationale Herstal ( Herstal is the City in Belgium where the Arms Factory is based). The fixed and adjustable sight versions of the 9mm Hi Power Pistol were renamed the ` Vigilante` and `Capitan` both with or without lanyard ring. This `Vigilante` model with fixed sight and lanyard ring is in great condition. It is nicely stamped with the ` Fabrique Nationale Herstal, Belgique` legend on the left side of the slide together with ` Brownings Patent Depose` and has matching serial numbers stamped on the frame and grip strap. It`s finely chequered plastic grips are undamaged. The weapons` serial number `215RN05730` is stamped on the right side of it`s frame and slide. The metal front strap of the pistols grip is stamped with matching serial number. The pistol cocks and dry fires perfectly. Price includes deactivation certificate and UK delivery. Sn 7221. (trade)
