A fine British Baker Flintlock rifle circa 1800-1820. Good untouched condition.
The Lockplate engraved "Ketland" and a crown "GR".
These guns are becoming extremely difficult to find. This is the first Baker flintlock rifle we have been able to offer for sale for over 10 years.
The Baker rifle (officially known as the Infantry Rifle) was a Flintlock Rifle used by the Rifle regiments of the British Army during the Napoleonic wars.
It was the first standard-issue, British-made rifle accepted by the Military.The Baker Rifle was first produced by Ezekiel Baker in 1800.
