Firstly, this is a put together piece hence the price.

The blunderbuss has an original E.I.C lock plate & flintlock mechanism, the lion and crown can just be made out though are extensively worn. A proof mark of 2 under a crown is also visible.

All other pieces are modern copies so it will make a nice wall hanger.

The stock is made from a fine, dark brown mahogany wood with brass guard/decoration. The barrel is stamped "1034".

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel has a length of 14 inches (35.5cm), with the blunderbuss measuring 26.5 inches (67cm) long overall. It weighs 2.1kg.

~ Condition ~

As most of thefireaem is formed from modern pieces, they remain in an excellent condition, with little damage or wear. The lock plate has some signs of wear but remains overall clean - it half cocks, cocks and releases well.
