G&P has applied a special aging technique to this model giving it a worn and used look which pushes that Vietnam Spec Ops veteran look so much further.
A weapon like this should have no custom mods and so G&Ps limited edition weathered version offers a tactical look of a bygone age, the nice touch to this support gun is the fact it appears to of been weathered before assembly and the attention to detail is fantastic.
The included box magazine holds 1200 BBs which is less than most MG boxes in airsoft (typically 2500-4000 ) but is still more than enough ammo for support use and is significatly easier to use unlike the much bulkier larger boxes found on M249s or M60s.
Despite its obvious machine gun orientation, the weapon is select-fire between semi and full-auto making it more flexible for use in skirmishing depending on whether you need to conserve ammo or lay down suppression fire.
If you are a big fan of machine guns then the G&P Mk.23 has to be a serious contender.
MG on the outside but M16 family compatible on the inside, it has a lot of potential as an Airsoft squad assault / support gun.
